The smaller filet lends a juicy, succulent quality to the porterhouse, while the top loin (New York strip) delivers that sought-after, beefy, buttery flavor. The USDA Prime grade assures each steak is superbly marbled, juicy, and deep flavored.
The Porterhouse is the bigger, more premium brother of the "T-Bone" steak. It is much thicker and has much more of the tenderloin relative to the loin portion.
